Kim K’s Bentley is Back

A couple weeks ago Kim Kardashian’s customized Bentley GTC ended up in the shop after becoming intimately familiar with lane splitting gone wrong. For those keeping score, it’s back on the streets, double-K headrests and all. On a side note, for those that don’t know what lane splitting is, watch it in action; it’s crazy, but completely legal in California.

GM Celebrity Car Fashion Show Mega Event

Somebody scored an exclusive invite (this guy) to the GM Style event this Saturday night. GM Style is essentially a fashion show, except the runway features hot cars with famous celebrities instead of hot models with silly outfits.

Mary J Blige (above) will be performing, as will Maroon 5 and Kid Rock, and Samantha Ronson will DJ the event. I’ve got a list of other celebrities that will be there, but you’ll have to check back here Sunday for more.

The Celebrity Car Parade Show

So I’ve gotten some weird looks when I tell people I was at SEMA last week. For those of you don’t know, SEMA is essentially what you would get if Pimp My Ride, an auto show, and an Oscars after-party collectively had a baby. It is the ultimate show for those who customize cars. Did I mention it’s in Las Vegas?

The site I am now working for, MyRide.com, did extensive coverage of not only the show, but of the many celebrities who were in attendance promoting cars, rims, and of course, themselves. For your enjoyment, courtesy of MyRide:

An Open Letter to the Crowd

(Me on the happiest day of my life. Can you guess the car? Easy, I know.)

So some might call the pictures on CCP borrowed…others might call it, um, stealing. Either way I’d rather make that decision than a trial court…

After many conversations with various people, I have decided to spend a bit of time exploring ways to legitimize this site, something I probably should have done from the start. Does that mean the Parade is over? No, far from it. Let’s call it a rain delay.
