We’d be willing to bet that very few alumni of FHM Magazine’s “100 Sexiest Women in the World” have also been featured with their cars in DUB Magazine, and we would almost guarantee that Courtney Hansen is the only one in that population that was once called by Hot Rod Magazine “the female face of hot rodding.” Intrigued? So were we. Courtney is a former co-host of TLC’s Overhaulin’, and is the current host of Spike TV’s PowerBlock every Saturday and Sunday. Courtney has a new show on Spike TV premiering on August 17th called Great Builds, and she was also a stunt car driver in The Dark Knight. New addition to the Britney Spears family?

Britney Spears was spotted yesterday on her way into an LA courthouse for a status hearing on her kids. Anyone know if she has taken custody of this white Range Rover? I know she gave up for adoption her old Range Rover to Jamie Lynn, and her dad has been busy selling off some of her existing babies. Well if Britney does bring back a new ride to the crib, you’ll read it here first.

No Limo? No Problem!

Robert Downey Jr. has spent the past couple weeks promoting the upcoming Iron Man at premieres across world. Rather than hopping in a limo, at every premiere he pulls up in the car his character drives in the movie. Lucky for Downey Jr. his character is a wealthy Audi R8-owning industrialist.

Look, I see no issue with a $200,000 car parked at a restaurant with a $1 menu – I don’t believe the price of the car you drive has to correlate with the price of the menu you order from. That said, I do hope Britney Spears recognizes that she’s parked in a handicap spot, not a valet line.

$140,000 - Keys Not Included

Celebrity cars that push +$100,000 are nothing new to the Parade, but good luck valeting this one. Nick Lachey was on hand as Hot Wheels unveiled a one-of-a-kind 40th anniversary-edition model encrusted with over 2,700 diamonds, giving it an estimated value of $140,000.

Ewen Bremner: Moneybags McGee

Ewen Bremner’s upcoming movie, Fool’s Gold, won’t see theaters until this Friday and he’s already checking out new rides. Listen big spender, I know that HHR looks mighty nice in purple, but don’t blow all your money in one shot.

Vintage rusty vans are so in.

Yesterday we learned that Jennifer Lopez does not roll a van…but guess which Jennifer does? The Aniston variety, seen here in a 1960’s Ford Falcon. Well, technically, the van belongs to a character she is playing in an upcoming movie, but it’s a nice look on her, very vintage (as opposed to if you and I were driving the van, and then the look would be called “very broke”.)

Sometimes the cars ARE the celebrities.

The annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car auction took place in Scottsdale, AZ last Saturday, and while there were some celebrities in the crowd (Jay Leno was on hand to auction off a Chevrolet ZR-1, Patrick Dempsey sold his 2005 Mustang race car), the real celebrities were the cars. Some highlights (including the final bid price):

• The Monkeemobile, based on a Pontiact GTO, $360,000.
• The “Beverly Hillbillies” customized jalopy truck, $125,000.
• NASCAR star Tony Stewart’s Chevrolet Monte Carlo, $300,000.
• A 1972 Lincoln recreation of television’s Batmobile, $185,000.
• James Brown’s 1992 Mercedes-Benz 160E, $9,000.
• A 1966 Ford Thunderbirds from the movie “Thelma and Louise,” $65,000.
• A 1995 Harley-Davidson owned by William Shatner of “Star Trek” fame, $30,000.
• The “Miami Vice” movie boat plus matching Hummer, $175,000.
• Robosauraus, “The World’s Largest Robot”, that also eats cars, $575,000.
